Spengler on pole at wet Oschersleben
Florian Spengler has taken pole position in a very wet qualifying session ahead of team mates Rustem Teregulov & Johannes Leidinger.
The track was very damp after a heavy downpour right after the WTCC qualifying session, and the BMW’s seemed to have the best set-up to handle the conditions, claiming the top three positions on the grid.
Charlie Geipel, in his first race in 2010 in a newly contructed S2000 Auris, qualified in fourth place, ahead of the fourth Liqui-Moly Engstler BMW of Roland Hertner.
In Divison 2, the pole position went to the Ford Fiesta of Carsten Seifert, with Matthiau Kaul taking the Division 3 pole position in the Opel Astra.
