Hertner on pole for season closer

Roland Hertner, third in the championship, has taken pole position for the season ending round at Oschersleben, with title rivals Leidinger & Spengler 3rd & 4th.

Roland Hertner set a lap of 1:38.453 in the qualifying session to take pole position, leading a five car sweep for Liqui-Moly Team Engstler.

Andrei Romanov, in only his second ADAC Procar meeting of the year, qualified second, just over one-tenth of a second behind, whilst Johannes Leidinger & Florian Spengler qualified third and fourth.

Russian driver Rustem Teregulov was the last of the Engstler drivers, with Peter Rikli’s Honda Civic qualifying next up, 2.5s down on Hertner’s pole time.

In Division 2, Guido Thierfelder has taken pole in his Peugeot 207, who is able to take the Division 2 title in race one with a strong result.

In Division 3, Christian Fischer has taken pole in the Honda Civic Type-R, whilst points leader Andreas Kast has qualified just behind him in the Renault Clio.
