Nykjær closes in on Thompson

James Thompson was fastest in the second test session at Franciacorta, but Michel Nykjær is closing in. The Dane was just 0.035 seconds behind the Brit.

Wolfgang Treml was third in the session, close to two seconds off Thompson’s time.

Aytac Biter was fourth fastest ahead of Peter Rikli and Jörg Schori. A total of six S2000 cars took part in the session.

Honda-driver Tomas Engström did not take part in the session as he had problems with the gear cut.
