Leidinger on pole at Oschersleben

Johannes Leidinger has qualified on pole position for the opening round of the 2011 ADAC Procar German touring car series at Oschersleben, leading an all BMW front-row with Jens Weimann alongside.

The single Liqui Moly Team Engstler car set a dominant lap of 1:38.704 to secure pole by over a second from Thate Motorsport’s Jens Weimann, with the team getting used to their new car.

Swiss driver Peter Rikli will line-up in third on the grid in his Honda Civic, with Michail Stepanov in fourth position in the Yaco Racing Toyota Auris.

Guido Thiefelder qualified on pole in Division 2 in his ETH Tuning Peugeot 207 Sport, and will start seventh on the grid in the 15 car field.
