Weimann is back in the ETC Cup

Jens-Guido Weimann is going to take part in this year’s FIA European Touring Car Cup. The German will drive for his team, Thate Motorsport in a BMW 320si.

Weimann took part in the ETC Cup in the S1600 class in 2007 at Adria, Italy, where he won the class.

The German races in the German ADAC Procar series this year with the BMW 320si which the team bought from Kristian Poulsen at the end of last year. Previously the team competed with a ex-STCC Mercedes C200.

Weimann is currently second in the ADAC Procar series with two victores at the Sachsenring and at Zolder.
