Jens Weimann on pole at Red Bull Ring

Thate Motorsport driver Jens Weimann has grabbed pole position at the Red Bull Ring for the latest round of the ADAC Procar series.

The 34-year-old secured pole ahead of Liqui-Moly Team Engstler’s Johannes Leidinger, with both drivers’ BMW 320sis locking out the front row.

Peter Rikli will line-up third on the grid in his Honda Civic, with Andreas Kast’s KK Audi A4 on fourth.

Weimann along with Kast, Matthias Kaul, Ulrike Krafft and Ralf Glatzel had laps deleted for cutting the Austrian track.

Nils Mierschke took pole position in Division 2 in his Ford Fiesta ST and will start ahead of D2 points leader Guido Thierfelder.
