ETC Cup swaps Valencia for Slovakiaring

Following on from confirmation that the Slovak Republic will feature on the 2012 WTCC calendar, it’s now also been confirmed that the second round of this year’s FIA European Touring Car Cup will switch from Spain to Slovakia.

Valencia was to host the second round of this year’s four round ETC Cup on April 1st, but now the second round will take place on 29th April at the Slovakiaring as a supporting event for the WTCC.

Monza will host the opening round in March, with Salzburging in Austria hosting the third round, both also shared with the WTCC events.

The ETC Cup finale takes place at a standalone event in June at Imola.
