Wilson Borgnino joins Maurer Motorsport

Argentinean Wilson Borgnino is going to take part in this year’s FIA European Touring Car Cup for Maurer Motorsport.
“I am so excited for this new challenge with Maurer Motorsport. I wish to achieve good results during my first season with them and in Europe,” said Borgnino.

Borgnino is going to drive the team’s third Chevrolet Aveo in the Super 1600 category alongside team mates Vadim Meshcheryakov and Alexander Frolov.

The 20-year-old took part in Formula Renault and Formula Plus Argentina last year, finishing third in the latter.
