Andreas Pfister stays on top at Salzburgring

Andreas Pfister continues on top as the FIA ETCC field completed the second test session at Salzburgring. The SEAT León Copa driver improved his best time from the first session by close to eight tenths with 1:29.706 in this session.

SEAT kept the top three as well in this seasson, but with Fernando Monje in second this time and Igor Skuz demoted to third. Monje was 0.791 seconds from the best time, with Skuz 1.275 seconds behind.

Petr Fulin was fourth fastest ahead of Urs Sonderegger and Matej Homola. Csapa Gaspar claimed seventh best time in his Alfa Romeo 156, 2.3 seconds off pace, with Christian Fischer in eighth. Norwegian SEAT Copa driver Stian Paulsen was ninth fastest ahead of Aytac Biter.

Fastest S1600 driver was Klaus Bingler in his Ford Fiesta, with Vadim Meshcheryakov second in the category.
