ADAC Procar Series announces partial 2013 calendar

Germany’s ADAC Procar Series has released its calendar for the 2013 season, with the championship continuing to support the ADAC GT Masters sports car series at a number of events.

The ADAC Procar Deutsche Tourenwagen Challenge is Germany’s Super 2000 & Super 1600 based championship, won this year by Jens Weimann and Guido Thierfelder in their respective classes.

In 2013 season will begin in late April at Oschersleben, before the series heads to Spa-Francorchamps for the first time in its history in May.

The eight-event calendar includes visits to the Sachsenring, the Nürburgring, the Lausitzring and also the Hockenheimring which hosts the season finale within Germany.

Circuits outside Germany for the series include the Red Bull Ring in Austria, and the Slovakiaring in the Slovak Republic, though participation in both these events with the ADAC GT Masters series is yet to be confirmed.
