Aurelien Comte fastest in first test at Pergusa

Aurelien Comte was fastest in the first FIA European Touring Car Cup test session at Enna Pergusa in Italy. The SEAT León Copa driver lapped the track in 1:52.930 and was just below half a second faster than top S2000 driver Petr Fulin in his BMW 320si.

Igor Skuz was final driver in to the top three, driving a S2000 SEAT León TFSi, being 0.592 seconds from Comte.

Nikolay Karamyshev and Jordi Oriola claimed positions four and five, while Dusan Borkovic was sixth fastest in his new Chevrolet Cruze, just below 1.5 seconds from Comte’s time.

Top S1600 driver was Romeo Luciano in 16th position overall with his Ford Fiesta. The session was red flagged once as Erwin Lukas spun off track in turn 12.
