Aurélien Comte on top again in Pergusa free practice

Galaxy Racing’s Aurélien Comte lead the official free practice session, the third testing & practice session of the day, at Pergusa, which seems to be favouring the SEAT León Supercopa class cars.

The Frenchman’s best time of 1:53.110 was slightly slower than that seen in the first two test sessions.

SMP Russian Bears Racing’s Anton Ladygin was second fastest, with Andreas Pfister third completing an all Single-Make Trophy Supercopa top three.

The fastest of the Super 2000 class drivers was Dusan Borkovic in the NIS Petrol Racing Team Chevrolet Cruze. The Serbian’s best time was just over half a second down on Comte’s.

Eight cars out of the top ten were from the SEAT Supercopa class, although that’s slightly misleading with S2000 front runners Petr Fulín, Mat’o Homola and Igor Skuz choosing not to take part in the session.

“Romeo Luciano” was the fastest driver in the Super 1600 category, setting the 15th fastest time in his Ravenol Team SAN Ford Fiesta, just under a second faster than S1600 points leader Kevin Krammes.

Qualifying takes place at 15:30 CET.
