Krenek Motorsport confirms two BMWs for 2014 season

Krenek Motorsport has confirmed to enter two BMWs for the 2014 FIA European Touring Car Cup with Michal Matĕjovský as one of the drivers.
“Compared to last year, I know the racetracks and my target is to be on the podium at every race,” said Matĕjovský.

The 29-year-old joined the team last year and finished fifth overall in the drivers’ championship.

”I know Mr Krenek since long time and our cooperation has always been very positive. For the upcoming season we were considering different options, but finally decided to stay in the ETCC. It’s a growing championship with strong competition and a very good media coverage,” said Matĕjovský.

Krenek Motorsport secured the 2013 FIA European Touring Car Cup S2000 drivers’ title with Petr Fulín behind the wheel of a BMW 320si. It has not been confirmed yet whether Fulín is going to continue with the team for 2014.
