Second win for Mikhail Grachev at Oschersleben

26-year-old Russian Mikhail Grachev has had the perfect start to the 2014 ADAC Procar Series season, with pole position and a pair of victories in Oschersleben, and leaves with a four point lead over closest rival, his AMG Motorsport team-mate Mikhail Stepanov.

The Russian won the second race of the weekend with a winning margin of 37 seconds over Stepanov, both competing in the top Division 1 tier, and in the only Super 2000 specification cars in the race.

In third place was Heiko Hammel in the Wolf Racing Ford Fiesta 1.6T, with Reinhard Nehls fourth overall in the D1-class MINI John Cooper Works of Team Dombek, the only other car on the same lap as Grachev.

In Division 2, Alexander Rambow took his second victory of the weekend as well in the ETH Tuning Peugeot 207 Sport, again leading an ETH Tuning podium lock-out in the Division 2 class with Andreas Rinke’s Citroen Saxo second and Guido Thierfelder finishing third in his Peugeot 207.

In the MINI Challenge Division 3 class, the victoty went to Thomas Tekaat this time, finishing ahead of Steve Kirsch, positions reversed compared to yesterday’s race.

The next round of the ADAC Procar Series takes place on May 10th-11th at Zandvoort in The Netherlands.
