Heiko Hammel wins first ADAC Procar race at Lausitzring

Division 1 driver Heiko Hammel won the first ADAC Procar race at Eurospeedway Lausitzring with his Ford Fiesta, four seconds ahead of MINI Cooper driver Reinhard Nehls.

The start had to be done twice as the race director found the field to not be in order. At the second attempt, Franjo Kovac was given a drive through penalty for not holding his position in the start.

Divison 2 saw a big fight for the lead between Alexander Rambow, Andreas Rinke and Thomas Krebs. The fight lasted until the last lap when Peugeot driver Rambow was able to clinch the lead and win ahead of Citroën driver Rinke.

In Divison 3 for MINI Challenge cars, Steve Kirsch claimed the victory, three seconds ahead of Thomas Tekaat in second position and Kai Jordan a bit further behind in third position.
