Dusan Borkovic tops second test session in Slovakia

B3 Racing’s Dusan Borkovic was fastest of all in the second 45-minute test session at the Slovakiaring, finishing ahead of the fellow three SEATs of Mat’o Homola, Petr Fulín and Andreas Pfister, with Davit Kajaia the fastest of the TC2T class drivers in fifth overall.

Borkovic set his best time just after 20 minutes of the session, putting the León Cup Racer over a second ahead of closest rival Homola, which was never bettered in the partly contested session.

Michal Matejovsky, who was the fastest of the TC2 class runners in the first test, opted not to compete in the second session, nor did any of the Super 1600 class competitors, meaning just 15 cars of the 21 entered set times.

In the TC2 class, it was Peter Rikli who was fastest in the Honda Civic FD2, 11th overall and almost five seconds off of Borkovic’s time.

ETCC’s next practice session is at 8:55 CET tomorrow.
