Dusan Borkovic tops final practice for the the ETCC in Slovakia

Serbia’s Dusan Borkovic finished the Saturday morning practice session for the European Touring Car Cup fastest of all after a last minute flyer in his B3 Racing SEAT León Cup Racer, taking over from Mat’o Homola who had led the last half of the session.

The Serbian’s time of 2:13.299 was over half a second clear of the young Slovakian, while Czech driver Petr Fulín completed the top three in his Krenek Motorsport-run SEAT.

The Single-Make Trophy SEAT León class held the top five positions. The best placed TC2T class runner was Davit Kajaia in the Liqui Moly Team Engstler BMW 320 TC in sixth, with Michal Matejovsky the fastest TC2 class driver in ninth overall.

The best placed S1600 class driver was Nicklas Mackschin in 18th position.

Qualifying for the ETCC is a 30 minute session which takes place at 16:10 CET
