Petr Fulín leads Dusan Borkovic in ETCC warm-up

Pole-sitter Petr Fulín led the way in the 15-minute morning warm-up at the Slovakiaring, as the teams get ready for the first race which gets underway in just over an hour.

Krenek SEAT driver Fulín’s best time of 2:13.760 was 0.267 seconds faster than Borkovic, while Mat’o Homola was third fastest also in a Single-Make Trophy class SEAT León, with the same three drivers having now been on top in every session so far.

Davit Kajaia was fourth fastest in the Liqui Moly Team Engstler BMW 320 TC and was therefore fastest in the TC2T class, while the Honda Civic of Peter Rikli, now with a new engine installed, was fastest in the TC2 class and eighth overall.

Luxembourg driver Gilles Brucker was the top placed driver in the S1600 class in 15th overall. S1600 points leader Nicklas Mackschin, and the two Zengo SEATs of Norbert Toth and Ferenc Ficza didn’t take part in the session.

The first nine-lap race gets underway at 10:05 CET.
