Dusan Borkovic leads first test session in France

B3 Racing driver Dusan Borkovic was fastest of all in the first of two Friday test sessions at the Paul Ricard Circuit in France. The Serbian put his SEAT León Cup Racer over half a second faster than his nearest rival, that of joint-points leader Petr Fulín, in the Krenek Motorsport-run SEAT.

In his second appearance of the season, Montenegro’s Dejan Bulatovic was third fastest in the LEIN Racing SEAT León Cup Racer, with the Single-Make Trophy class filling the top five spots with Andreas PFister fourth and Mat’o Homola fifth.

Georgian driver Davit Kajaia was the fastest of the TC2T class competitors in sixth overall in the Liqui Moly Team Engstler BMW 320 TC, with Michal Matejovsky the fastest of the TC2 class drivers in tenth overall in his Krenek BMW 320si.

Gilles Bruckner was fastest in S1600 in his Team LuxMotor Ford Fiesta, while only three of the five entries in the class took part in the session, with Ulrike Krafft and Florian Hildner siting out the one-hour test.

A second one-hour test takes place at 13:30 CET.
