Petr Fulín again on top in second ETCC test session in France

Czech driver Petr Fulín topped the time sheets for the second consecutive session at Paul Ricard in his Krenek Motorsport SEAT León TCR, finishing 1.3 seconds ahead of René Münnich’s Honda Civic TCR.

Fulín again led the way through the bulk of the 45-minute session, which was held on a dry track after the rain which had hit the morning’s session has stopped. Just 15 of the 19 cars for the race, with four of the Super 1600 class cars choosing to sit out the optional session.

Münnich was 1.4 seconds off of Fulín’s pace, while Kris Richard, who was second fastest in the morning session, set the third fastest time in the second test, over 2.4 seconds off of Fulín’s pace.

Norbert Nagy in the Zengő Motorsport SEAT León Cup Racer was fourth fastest ahead of Peter Rikli in the Honda Civic TCR.

In the Super 1600 class, Kevin Hilgenhövel was fastest in the ETH Tuning Peugeot 207 Sport, just ahead of Ulrike Krafft’s Ford Fiesta and his own team-mate Andreas Rinke.
