Stefano Comini and Kris Richard join TCR Benelux in Colmar-Berg

TCR International Series defending champion Stefano Comini and FIA European Touring Car Cup joint-leader Kris Richard will join the TCR Benelux event at Colmar-Berg.

Richard will partner Stéphane Lémeret in the Boutsen Ginion Honda Civic TCR, after Honda-family drivers Tiago Monteiro, Norbert Michelisz and Matt Neal have all done the same earlier this season. The 23-year old is the first driver to join the team who has direct knowledge of the Civic TCR, although he has never driven it on Michelin tyres, as he uses Yokohama in the ETCC. The Swiss has also never been to the Colmar-Berg circuit before.

The same goes for Stefano Comini, who raced last weekend in the TCR International Series at Singapore. The 2015 champion will drive a Team WRT-run Volkswagen Golf, partnering Maxime Potty, taking over from Ronnie Latinne.

Both drivers will continue their fights for their respective full-time titles the following weekend, as Comini will travel to Malaysia for the second-to-last event of the TCR International Series, while Richard will be in Imola to try and win the European title, fighting directly with TCR International Series regular Petr Fulín.
