Loris Hezemans and Maxime Potty on pole at Assen
Loris Hezemans and Maxime Potty will start from pole position for the one-hour qualifying race this afternoon at the TT Circuit Assen following the fast-lap window and results of the TCR Benelux series fan vote.
The combined results of the fan vote, as well as the Team WRT Volkswagen pair’s second fastest lap time from the fast-lap window from the final 15 minutes of practice has placed the duo on pole for the endurance race.
Starting from second on the grid will be the Boutsen-Ginion Honda pair of Norbert Michelisz and Stéphane Lémeret, after finishing fifth in the window and second in the fan poll.
Third on the grid will be the Team WRT SEAT pair of Sam Dejonghe and Denis Dupoint, with the RACB Club drivers having set the fastest time.
They will be followed by the other two Boutsen-Ginion Hondas of Renaud Kuppens and Benjamin Lessennes, and Tom Coronel and Michael Verhagen respectively.
The DG Sport Opel of Pierre-Yves Corthals and Frédéric Caprasse will start from seventh position.
The qualifying race starts at 15:25 CET.
