Petr Fulín fastest in ETCC test day at Monza

Krenek Motorsport’s Petr Fulín was fastest of all at the end of the Friday open test day at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza in Italy, leading Macedonia’s Igor Stefanovsk by less than a tenth of a second, both in SEAT León TCRs.

Fulín topped both halves of the day, setting a time of 2:01.238 in the morning, before finding another six-tenths of a second to end the day on top with a timeo of 2:00.639, 0.096 seconds ahead of Stefanovki.

Serbia’s Mladen Lalusic was next quickest, just under a second behind in his LEIN Racing SEAT León.

Peter Rikli was the fastest of the two Honda Civic TCRs, fourth overall and nine-tenths down on Fulín, with new team-mate Christjohannes Schreiber one spot behind him.

Ten cars set times over the course of the day, with Zengõ Motorsport’s Zsolt Szabo failing to set a time, while Plamen Kralev was some way back in tenth, setting just one timed lap all day, 12 seconds off the pace.

The ETCC is next on track at 9:55 CET on Saturday for their one and only official practice session.
