Maxime Potty tops test session at Zolder

Team WRT’s Maxime Potty was fastest of all in the 60-minute test session at Zolder ahead of this weekend’s round of the TCR Benelux series.

Potty and co-driver Mathieu Detry were just under a tenth of a second faster than DG Sport Compétition’s Aurélien Comte and Kevin Abbring in the Peugeot 308 Racing Cup, with Boutsen Ginion Racing’s Benjamin Lessennes and Tom Coronel thrid, just a tenehof a second behind.

Edouard and Guillaume Mondron were fourth quickest in the Delahaye Racing SEAT León TCR, with the Team WRT SEAT of Sam Dejonghe and Denis Dupont fifth.

The Delahaye Volkswagen of Giacomo Altoe and Fred Caprasse was sixth, with the two Bas Koeten Audis completing the top eight, with no competitive time set by the #12 Comtoyou Racing Audi of Stefano Comini and Frederic Vervisch, which finished behind the two Renault Clio Cup Benelux entreis of Filip Uyttendaele and Sven van Laera.
