Petr Fulín fastest in first ETCC test at Vila Real

Krenek SEAT driver Peter Fulín was fastest of all in the 45-minute test session at the Vila Real street circuit in Portugal, finishing almost a second clear of newcomer Jose Rodrigues’s Target Honda Civic, with points leader Christjohannes Schreiber third.

Fulín took the top spot away from the SEAT of Igor Stefanovski with just over five minutes to go, while a flurry of improvements followed, with Rodrigues second quickest on his ETCC debut in the Honda Civic TCR.

Christjohannes Schreiber was third fastest in the Rikli Motorsport Honda Civic, just over one second behind, while local driver Fábio Mota finished fourth in the LEIN Racing SEAT León TCR.

Stefanovsky was demoted to fifth, with Zsolt Szabo fifth fastest in the best-placed of the three Zengo SEATs in sixth, followed by the Honda of Peter RIkli, the SEAT of Andreas Pfister, the Audi of Plamen Kralev with Mladen Lalusic completing the top ten in the second LEIN SEAT León.
