Mörth confirmed for Chevrolet

Pontus Mörth will drive for the brand new Chevrolet Team in the Danish Touringcar Championship next year. This year Mörth drove a Volvo S60 in the Danish championship. Not only will Mörth and Chevrolet do a full season in DTC, but also at least one race in the WTCC.

“It is really great to be with a strong manufacturer and it is also nice to have everything complete even before the start of silly season,” Mörth said.

Mörth previous experiences range from STCC to F3 and VW Beetle Cup. He has been driving in the DTC since 2003 for Volvo.

The team running the Chevrolet’s, Perfection Racing, is officially backed and sanctioned by Chevrolet.
“It is an ambitious launch on DTC. It is very special to be able to drive for a new manufacturer,” Mörth said.
