BMW cause Danish rule changes?

According to our sources the organisers of the Danish Touring Car Championship will implement some changes to the rules for the coming season. The reason for the changes is to keep BMW from running away with the championship. For the 2007 season BMW will continue being the main car of the field, touching almost 10 cars (E90 and E46). The changes are reported to be traction control and more tyres per weekend for the FWD cars.

The year 2007 will most likely be a very similar year to 1996 when Audi won every championship they took part in. BMW has a very good chance of doing that this year with potent cars in all S2000-championships around Europe.

According to our information the DTC organisation is currently negotiating with the DTC-teams regarding the planned changes. Stay tuned for more news on the subject!
