Michael Outzen will drive for Chevrolet

Michael Outzen will take the remaining seat in Chevrolet Motorsport Denmark. Before christmas Outzen suddenly seemed to be out from the Chevrolet team despite plans to continue. But now a solution has been found and Outzen is happy.
“It is really great to finally have the contracted signed and sealed,” Michael Outzen says.

“I’m so glad that Chevrolet and Perfection Racing (the technical arm behind Chevrolet Motorsport Danmark, ed.) have been flexible over the last two months, otherwise the deal would have gone down the drain. Luckily a group of sponsors appeared and assured that I will be driving this year.”

Team manager Kent Bo Steffensen has been very occupied lately to finalise all details. That Outzen has been signed is something he feels has been done not a moment too late.

“We have to face the fact that there are few drivers of Micheal’s calibre remaining on the market. Now I have good feeling in my stomach,” he said.
