Jan Magnussen presents new livery

Monday afternoon, Jan Magnussen and Martin Jensen were presented as the drivers of the newly launched ReeSport Danish Touringcar Championship team. Taking over the reins from the DBA team, the new DTC team is making its point as the first team running on E85. The new bio fuel demanded a new livery, explaining the new green colour.

“I think it looks super cool,” Jam Magnussen explained. “It has really succeeded to make the green colour look good, combined with the black stripes. Of course we are running a risk, racing the bio fuel but we are determined to make it work.”

The new bio fuel might be popular with the new ReeSport team, but despite the DTC regulations forcing the team to add weight, it does not make the new champion think twice about the decision. But it seems negations are ongoing about the weight limits.

“In Sweden you are allowed to remove 6 kilos of the car, but in Denmark we are, until further notice, demanded to add 15 kilos of weight. But anyway, we have decided that it’s the future for our team, so obviously we are very excited to get going with the new season.”

Martin Jensen was presented as the teams’ second driver, following earlier years plan. Jensen also tested with Magnussen at the DTC test this weekend. The first race for the team, following the DTC test this weekend, will be the season opener the 9. / 10. May at FDM Jyllandsringen.
