Elgaard not to race at Padborg Park

FDM Motorsport team owner and driver Casper Elgaard will miss this weekends race on Padborg Park. The financial crisis has caused two sponsors to cancel their contract with the team, which leaves the FDM Motorsport team with a gap in their budget.

“I have missed one race already when I raced the Team Essex Porsche RS Spyder at Spa, which leaves me with no chance of winning the championship, while Jens is fighting for the privateer championship.

That made it fairly easy to decide who should drive this weekend.”, Elgaard said.

Elgaard aims to be behind the wheel of the Seat Leon again at the next race, Grand Prix Danmark at Jyllandsringen on 23rd of August.
