Jan Magnussen back in business
The front wheel driven Honda and Chevrolet pretty much has the Danish Touring Car Championship wrapped up between them. But never underestimate the speed of reigning champion Jan Magnussen; he took the fastest time at todays warm up at FDM Jyllandsringen.
The E85 driven BMW 3201 E90 from Alternative Engineering took the honours with a lap time of 1.10,620, in front of Hartmann Honda privateer Per Poulsen and Chevrolet Nubira pilot Michel Nykjær.
The FDM Motorsport Seat Leons of Jens Reno Møller and Casper Elgaard followed on the following places. Rookie Roland Poulsen is getting faster for each run in his brother’s Poulsen Motorsport BMW E90, now up into 15. spot.
John Nielsen stopped his driving engagement with Team Telesikring before GP Danmark, and the job has been taken over by team boss Peter Ager, due to sponsorship obligations to run a two car team.
Invitation Only was lead on by John Hansen, while Seat Leon driver Jason Watt stopped in the Horseshoe turn, with problems which seemed to be engine related. He had to be scooped up by the rescue vehicles after the session.
