2025 is almost over and it’s time to look back at the most read touring car stories of the past year on TouringCarTimes.

This year marks the 30th year of TouringCarTimes and make sure to read our feature on the past, present and future of touring cars.

Let’s start with the tenth most read article of 2025:

10 – Geely to join FIA TCR World Tour with Cyan Racing

News of Cyan Racing’s new contract with Geely to race in the FIA TCR World Tour is the first entry of the top ten.

The ninth most read article is the announcement by the British Touring Car Championship organisers that all race days of the 2025 season would be broadcast live on YouTube.

Number eight on the list is FIA’s announcement of new technical guidelines which are meant for “grassroots motorsport in developing countries”.

7 – Power Maxed Racing to run at least one car at Knockhill

The seventh most read article of 2025 is news regarding Power Maxed Racing managing to run one car for the BTCC races at Knockhill following a fire that swept through the team’s headquarters.

1 – Fire destroys Power Maxed Racing headquarters

The most read TouringCarTimes article of 2025 is the devastating news that a fire destroyed Power Maxed Racing’s headquarters in Worcestershire.

Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service were called to reports of a fire in the area at around 11:50 BST on the ninth of August. Ten fire crews were sent to the scene while further engines from Gloucestershire and Warwickshire were also on hand to assist. Read the full article here.
