Alx Danielsson fastest in close first Gothenburg test

Alx Danielsson topped the first TTA – Racing Elite League test at Gothenburg City Arena for Brovallen Design in an extremely close session where 14 drivers were within four tenths.

Tommy Rustad was second fastest, just 33 thousands of a second behind, but ended his session in the wall. The Norwegian reported that something seemed to break in the car just before he spun at the exit of a corner and hit the wall.

Mattias Andersson impressed with third fastest time ahead of Richard Göransson and championship leader Fredrik Ekblom.

Fredrik Larsson claimed sixth fastest time ahead of Robin Rudholm who clashed with Jan Brunstedt. Rudholm went on the inside of Brunsted in turn two, but Brunstedt turned in to him, resulted in damaged carbon fibre for Brunstedt and a puncture for Rudholm.

Robert Dahlgren, Thed Björk and Andreas Ebbesson rounded off the top ten.
