Saab 1-2 in second Gothenburg test session

Mattias Andersson pulled out a surprise and was fastest in the second TTA test session at Gothenburg City Arena. The Saab driver pipped team mate Robin Rudholm with just five thousands of a second, making it a Flash Engineering 1-2.
“The track suits me really well in some strange way. It is close to the barriers, but I had a good run and the balance of the car is fine,” said Andersson.

Robert Dahlgren was close behind in third for Volvo, 0.042 seconds from Andersson’s time. Alx Danielsson, who topped the first session, was fourth fastest but only managed eight laps due to technical problems.

Linus Ohlsson was third best Saab driver in fifth, ahead of Richard Göransson and championship leader Fredrik Ekblom. Thed Björk, Fredrik Larsson and Martin Öhlin rounded off the top ten, all being within four tenths of a second from the fastest time of the session.

Next up for the TTA drivers is qualifying, starting tomorrow at 11.40 CET, followed by the race at 15.15.
