Göransson claims first TTA pole ahead of Ohlsson

Richard Göransson claimed his first ever TTA pole position at Falkenberg, just 0.039 seconds ahead of Linus Ohlsson.
“This is just great! We have had a slow start to the season, but we got everything right now and it is extra fun to do it on the home track of the team,” said Göransson.

Robert Dahlgren was third fastest and top Volvo driver, just 0.081 seconds from pole position. Local driver Fredrik Larsson claimed fourth on the grid, but had to park his car with engine problems right after he set his fastest time.
“He reported problems with the oil pressure, we are going to investigate it now and see what we can do for the race,” said WestCoast Racing Team Manager Dick Jönsson-Wigroth.

Robin Rudholm was second fastest Saab driver in fifth position, 0.152 seconds from pole, with championship leader Fredrik Ekblom an unhappy sixth.
“I am of course a bit disappointed. But sixth isn’t too bad and I have to fight hard in the race,” said Ekblom.

Ekblom’s team mate and previous race winner Thed Björk is going to line up seventh ahead of Alx Danielsson who braked too late in to the first corner, resulting in a brief gravel visit and a damaged front spoiler.

Tommy Rustad and Andreas Ebbesson were final drivers in to the top ten. The race starts at 15.15 CET and goes on for 45 laps.
