Fabrizio Giovanardi returns to Superstars with Porsche

Fabrizio Giovanardi is back in the Superstars championship with Petri Corse for the coming race at Brno on May 19th.
“This is a new challenge for me and those who know me well know that I have always liked challenges,” said Giovanardi to Sport Vicenza.

Giovanardi is going to race Petri Corse’s Porsche Panamera, the very car he raced and developed for N-Technology in the 2010 Superstars, claiming four victories.
“We are very honored to have a strong and experienced driver in the team. He has helped us in the winter with the development of the car, so I can think of no one better to drive the car,” said Team Manager Simon Petri.

The multiple touring car champion takes over the seat at Petri Corse from reigning Superstars champion Johan Kristoffersson who left the team after the season start at Monza, in which the Swede failed to take part in any of the races due to technical problems.
