Herbert joins Chevrolet team in Superstars

Previous Formula One and BTCC driver Johnny Herbert has signed for Chevrolet team Motorzone to race in the Superstars 2010.
“I am very happy to take part in the 2010 season of Superstars,” said Herbert to the official championship site.

Herbert is going to drive one of the team’s Chevrolet Lumina CR-8 and team manager Fabrizio Armetta is pleased.

“The precense of Herbert in our team is certainly a honor for us all,” said Armetta.

The Italian Superstars series has received a boost of previous Formula One drivers ahead of the 2010 season.

“I can’t wait to go back and face my old friends and adversaries from Formula One such as Morbidelli and Naspetti,” said Herbert.

The Superstars season starts at Monza on the 28th of March.
