Campos Racing enters Superstars
Spanish team Campos Racing is going to take part in the Superstars this season with the ambition to enter three BMW M3s. The team is currently negotiating with Sergio Hernández, Felix Porteiro and former MogoGP-rider Sete Gibernau.
Gibernau is schedule to test one of the M3s in a near future, something team manager Adrian Campos has worked hard for.
“I am delighted to have convinced Sete [for the test], it has not been easy. I am convinced that he has not lost any of his winning instinct, but the final decision rests solely on him,” said Campos to Sportmotores.
Former FIA World Touring Car Championship drivers Hernández and Porteiro are reportedly close to signing a contract with the team for a full Superstars season this year.
The Superstars 2011 season starts at Monza on the 10th of April.
