Video from TTA test at Mantorp Park

The Touring Car Team Association invited a number of Swedish teams to test the new TTA car at Mantorp Park two weeks ago. The TTA, formed by Polestar Racing, Flash Engineering, WestCoast Racing and Brovallen Motorsport, released a video from the test day.

A total of eighth teams and nine drivers took part in the test day, including 2006 STCC champion Thed Björk, WTCC driver Robert Dahlgren, double STCC champion Jan “Flash” Nilsson and reigning STCC privateer champion Andreas Ebbesson.

The prototype car is produced by Solution-F and is a modified version of the TC10 model. The car was equipped with a standard body silhouette from Solution-F during the test in the form of a Volvo S60. TTA has announced that they are going to produce their own silhouettes with softer curves and smaller wings.

The TTA reports that they are going to complete further tests in Sweden shortly with more Scandinavian teams and that negotiations with STCC are still ongoing for 2012.
