Stefan Söderberg joins Brovallen for TTA 2012

Former STCC and Carrera Cup driver Stefan Söderberg has signed for Brovallen Design to take part in the TTA 2012.
“This is great. The TTA concept is really good and I want to drive in a championship with the best possible competition and as things look right now, all of the good drivers and teams are going to be in TTA,” said Söderberg.

The 27-year-old hasn’t raced since 2009 when he finished as runner-up in the Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia but hopes to get up to speed quickly.
“My goal is always to win, but I have to be a realist. I can drive, but I have been away from racing for two years and lost some pace. But I think I can get in to it quite quickly when the testing starts,” said Söderberg.

Söderberg, who drove for Peugeot in the 2006 STCC is the first confirmed driver for Brovallen Design and team owner Tobias Johansson is pleased.
“I have followed Stefan’s career and he is a real qualifying specialist. He has got a vast experience from single make classes and single seaters, something that is going to be useful for him in TTA,” said Johansson.

Brovallen Design also announced that they are going to reveal the identity of their second driver shortly.
