Marcus Ericsson testing new rear wing for TTA

GP2 driver Marcus Ericsson has completed a number of test days for TTA with the prototype car ahead of the 2012 season.
“It was a really good day, they have made a lot of progress with the car. We have got many laps and the car feels complete,” said Ericsson.

Ericcson performed a test day in France earlier this week at the Alés circuit, testing a new rear wing.
“The wing is designed in the modern way for wings. It increases the possibility for cars behind to overtake at the same time as it is efficient aerodynamically and in terms of grip level. The wing has worked well during the tests and we are pleased with the result,” said Greger Landén, representative of the TTA technical board.

The TTA car in the picture above is a prototype used by the TTA technical group to test new technology, aerodynamics and improvement ahead of the first delivery of cars to the teams in Sweden.
“We are pleased with the outcome of the tests here in France. The first delivery of cars to Sweden takes place next week and the teams are facing an exciting build up ahead of the first tests in april,” said Landén.
