Hankook new tyre supplier for Superstars

The Superstars International Series has signed a contract with Hankook for tyre supply for the 2012 season.
“This partnership we are starting with Hankook racing tyres from the upcoming 2012 season represents a significant advance in our international expansion program as well as a great opportunity for the Italian motorsports panorama, which can count on the addition of a world-leading manufacturer as a new partner,” said FG Group Managing Director Vincenzo Lamaro.

The series has previously run on Michelin tyres but will for 2012 switch to the Hankook Ventus F200 slick tyres.

The Superstars International Series and the GT Sprint International Series are among the most popular racing series in Europe and represent top-performance motorsports,” said Mr. Hee-Se Ahn, Hankook Vice President for Marketing and Sales in Europe.

The Superstars International Series kicks off at Monza on April the 1st.
