Hankook tyre supplier for TTA – Racing Elite League

Hankook is the official tyre supplier for the new Swedish TTA – Racing Elite League.

The TTA has begun using Hankook tyres with the prototype car during autumn and winter testing in Sweden and France.
“We are proud to start a cooperation with Hankook and we understand why DTM chose them as tyre supplier. They have produced an amazing racing tyre, that enables us to push hard in long races with a high level of grip, opening up for more overtaking. It is impressive and it is going to be great racing with them in the TTA – Racing Elite League 2012,” said Jan “Flash” Nilsson, TTA representative and driver of Flash Engineering.

Swedish DTM ace Mattias Ekström has been involved in the formation of the TTA and welcomes the fact that the championship gets the same tyre supplier as DTM.
“Hankook tyres have worked really well in the DTM. I am sure the tyres will perfectly fit the championship as the TTA cars are similar to the ones we use in the DTM. I am looking forward to follow the TTA 2012 championship,” said Ekström.
