Video: TTA test Saab 9-3 in France
TTA ran the first test with the new Saab 9-3 TTA in France earlier this week. The car is the first completed TTA car according to the specification to be used in the TTA – Racing Elite League this year.
“We’ve had a successful and thorough test day in France, something soon to be changed to the final tests in Sweden ahead of the premiere,” said Greger Landén, Technical Director of TTA.
Test driver Fabien Thuner drove over 100 laps at French track Alés and was pleased with his impressions of the car.
“This is a very good race car and I am enjoying all laps. I wish TTA the best of luck and I am going to follow the championship closely,” said Thuner.
The first official TTA test is going to be held at Karlskoga and Anderstorp in May, just a week before the premiere. No TTA drivers are allowed to test a TTA car before the official test sessions in order to have equal terms for all drivers for the short and intense test period before the first race with the new cars.
