Riccardo Bossi and Scuderia Giudici part ways

Riccardo Bossi has parted ways with Scuderia Giudici following the accident in the first race in Monza. The announcement has come directly from team principal Gianni Giudici, who criticized Bossi’s behavior both on and off the track.

“There is a big difference between my view of the sport and Riccardo Bossi’s. For me, the only goal is to win: maybe he sees it differently,” said Giudici. “He should work on his teamwork skills, really.”

Riccardo Bossi had gone off the track exiting the Lesmo 1, hitting the wall on the inside and causing damage to his BMW. When he restarted, he lost a wheel and caused the deployment of the Safety Car.

While dropping his driver out of the team, Giudici still thinks there are good reasons why Bossi hasn’t been competitive at Monza.
“He started racing quite late, and didn’t have much time for free practice at Monza. Nevertheless, he has to stop and think about what he really wants from this sport.”
