TTA announces full live TV deal for first season

The breakaway TTA Racing Elite League will be broadcast live on Swedish channel Viasat for its inaugural season, with all eight rounds of the series being shown live.

The series will be broadcast live on TV10, a sports specialist channel in Sweden owned by Viasat, with the support packages of the Porsche GT Cup, Trofeo Abarth, Swedish GT and Radical championships also being shown on the Viasat network.

“We are thrilled to collaborate with Viasat, which gives us the best opportunity to reach out to those interested in motorsport in Sweden,” said Greger Peterson, President of the TTA.

Viasat is the premiere motorsports broadcaster in Sweden, possessing the rights to the FIA Formula 1 World Championship, MotoGP, NASCAR and the DTM, and was the previous broadcaster of the Swedish/Scandinavian Touring Car Championship until the end of last year.

The TTA season begins in two weeks at Karlskoga on May 12th, with the season finishing on the streets of Gothenburg on September 29th.
