Robin Rudholm remains on top in first TTA test
Robin Rudholm’s best time from the morning session of the premiere TTA – Racing Elite League test at Karlskoga remained fastest throughout the day.
“I am of course really pleased with the test. This is my first day with Flash Engineering and I am already at home. We have stayed clear from technical difficulties and it feels really good to go to sleep with the fastest lap of the day,” said Rudholm.
Richard Göransson was second fastest, 0.175 seconds behind, with Linus Ohlsson in third. Fredrik Larsson claimed fourth fastest time and was pleased.
“I am pleased with the day. We have got a lot of driving and the car is great fun to drive. There is so much potential with the setup and that is what it is all about today, to get a feeling for the car,” said Larsson.
BMW occupied four of the top six positions with Martin Öhlin in fifth and Andreas Ebbesson in sixth. Fredrik Ekblom was best Volvo driver in seventh, but was not pleased with the day.
“We had some small problems and didn’t get as many laps as we wished for. But the car is awesome to drive and it is nice to see all the other cars together. We’ll be back for Anderstorp tomorrow,” said Ekblom.
Stefan Söderberg was best Citroën driver in eighth ahead of Thed Björk and Tommy Rustad. TTA continues testing at Anderstorp Raceway tomorrow.
