Proteam Racing to field two BMWs in Superstars

World Touring Car Championship regulars Proteam Racing have confirmed they will enter two BMW M3 E92s in this year’s Superstars Series, in addition to the BMW 320 TC of Mehdi Bennani in the WTCC this season

The Italian team and former WTCC independents’ trophy champions will compete in Italy’s premier touring car category, fielding a pair of BMWs in the 2013 Superstars International Series, with the drivers for their programme still to be announced.

“The work that the team will undertake certainly will not be easy, but the vast experience of our team, in particular with the BMW brand, will help us to field two competitive cars,” said Team Principal Valmiro Presenzini.
