Berton and Mugelli confirmed for Team Dinamic

Last year’s Superstars Series runner-up Giovanni Berton and podium challenger Max Mugelli are confirmed to be behind the wheel of Team Dinamic’s BMW M3s in the new EUROV8 SERIES.

Berton scored three wins in the 2013 Superstars, claiming the runner-up spot in the championship in the process. Despite an aging car, the M3s proved to still be competitive against the newer cars last year.

“I’m excited to race in the EUROV8 Series”, said Berton. “I feel lucky to be back behind the wheel of my M3 and work with guys at Team Dinamic. It really makes the difference because of the team’s family-like environment. I also want to thank the supporter of this series, as they’ve been pushing me for the last few months. They are really providing with the motivation I need to go out and fight for the title”.

Mugelli did not enjoy the same success but was still a front-runner on tracks which suited the Bavarian cars and the Tuscany-based driver is optimistic about the coming season.

”I think 2014 will be our year, although we know there are already some tough opponents. The competition’s level will be pretty high so we have to be ready for the opening round. Probably Monza isn’t the most suitable track for our cars, but you can’t really take anything for granted in racing,” said Mugelli.

The rumored upgrade on the Bavarian cars will have to wait at least for another year, as the duo will compete in the same BMW M3 E92s they drove last season.

The team is close to finalizing a deal to field a third M3.
